Hy-Ten manufacturers and supplies the following:
- Cold reduced grade 500N/mm² wire to BS4482:2005
- Cold reduced grade 500N/mm² wire to customers’ specifications
- Cold reduced grade 500N/mm² reinforcement to BS4449:2005
Available in diameters 5mm to 16mm. Available in layer wound coils (weight to customer's specification, up to 4 tonnes), in straight lengths (up to 12 metres) or cut & bent.
All materials are CARES approved.
Hy-Ten is the only UK company with CARES approval to produce 14mm reinforcement. The incorporation of this diameter into reinforcement designs can result in substantial tonnage savings.
Hy-Ten is also the only UK company with CARES approval to cold form 10, 12 & 16mm reinforcement to grade 500B. This product enables our cutting and bending customers to combine the productivity benefits of using cold formed material (in heavier coils than hot rolled material is supplied in) with the benefits of using grade B material instead of grade A material. |
